    Cheza and Evo don't mix

I was planning on adding Evo red bites to my rotation once Cheza was older because Salem really loves it. I have a hard time keeping weight on Salem, and he frequently skips meals if I don't rotate enough. He will always eat his raw, but he sometimes just wont eat kibble for a few days. Please no one say that I should just not offer anything else (people tell me this constantly). I don't indulge him. If he doesn't want his kibble I don't give him something else to replace the kibble meal. I brought home a few samples of the red bites and he gobbled them right down like they were bits of steak.

Cheza on the other hand got really bad diarrhea from the red bites. She didn't even get a meal from them, I was just using some of the pieces has training treats. She also got diarrhea from the evo canned food I gave both dogs last night. Does anyone have any idea why this might be? I'm not sure if maybe the food was just to rich for a puppy stomach or if I should be worried about an allergy.

Right now both dogs eat Fromm Family kibbles (rotate between protein sources) and they also get the natures variety premade raw. A few times a week on higher energy days they either get some homemade or canned food. They also get raw rabbit, chicken, etc. when I buy it in place of the premade raw. Both dogs also get salmon oil / vit. E every day, and a raw egg yolk every other day or so.

It sould be a couple of things.  Maybe a sensitivity to one of the red meat sources (the formula contains beef, venison, lamb and bison)?

In regards to the canned EVO, my guess would be fat content.  My guy gets back-end problems from the EVO canned products, but can handle NV 95% meat and Wellness 95% meat formulas just fine.  The EVO canned products have a fat content of around 40-45%, whereas the Wellness and NV products are around 27-28% fat.  My guy usually eats a diet that is around 30% fat with no problem, but the EVO canned is too much for him.

    Just a thought.
