    Old Mother Hubbard biscuits...

Just inquiring, has anyone feed Old Mother Hubbard biscuits to their dogs? Are they good, healthy? Did your dogs like them? I wanted to try them (for my 2 Pommies), and ever since recalls, I always inquire on here before trying something new. I wanted to get the P-Nuttier Flavor. Which ones do yours like best? I wanted to feed them as a snack during the day time, or maybe as a part of the dinner ( like a dessert - 1 cookie after meal ).

My crew wouldn't eat them.  They love the Blue treats, but as I recall, the Innova Health Bars have better ingredients.

Mine like them in their kongs. :)  The charcoal flavor does seem to help when one of the girls overeat or have smelly poop (but so does plain pumpkin or yogurt lol).

Do check the bag - the last one I picked up had bugs in it; I usually get them at Petsmart, but that time I was at Petco and I saw the same bugs in other types of biscuits, so they may just have been on the shelf too long rather than a problem with the OMH packaging.

Mine love 'em.  Especially the peanut butter ones.

I just noticed the Product Ingredients

Whole Wheat Flour, Oatmeal, Chicken Fat (preserved with mixed Tocopherols), Crunchy Peanut Butter, Molasses, Malto Dextrin, Natural Peanut Butter Flavor, Eggs, Whole Ground Apples, Whole Ground Carrots, Garlic, Sea Salt.

Does anyone mind that there is the Garlic in there? Is it Ok? From what I know the Garlic isn't so good for dogs?

Other than that I like the fact that they are Baked.

Garlic is fine in small amounts, large amounts are what's bad for dogs (think many cloves not just a sprinkle in a biscuit).  The biscuits have a very light garlic smell, so there's not much in them at all.
