Looking for a recipe for emaciated dog

Hi, I am new here but I couldn't help seeing your post about the dog. When I got my dog from the humane society he looked even worse than that and everytime he got near people he would just shake all over in fear. He also was dirty his ears were eaten by flys. It took me six months just to get him to eat in the house. Of course now he doesn't even resemble that dog in any way. He is a happy confident dog who loves everybody. I made a vow to spoil him rotten for the rest of his life. Everytime I hear of a dog being done that way it just makes my blood boil. With a lot of love and attention and good food your dog will be ok. Thank God you saw him that day. God bless you for taking action and getting him out of there.

Thanks for your replies. I am happy to report she is gaining weight and keeping it on her. The only problem I am still battling is the chronic diarrhea with her.

I did finally get a response from the previous adoptor's and their explanation was "It was their kids responsiblity to ensure she was fed and watered and walked, played with etc. We are NOT talking about small kids, these are teenagers who should know better.

After the first of the year, I will be taking them to court. What I would like to see is they NEVER are allowed to own another pet, and they will reimburse all vet bill's incurred along with court costs.

Good for you! If they don't have brains enough to supervise their kids in the care of an animal, then they shouldn't have animals.[:@][:@]
