Is this good training?

• Mic Posted : 3/14/2006 8:51:32 PM It depends on the dog.  The training doesn't hurt how they act with the family (if done properly).  Most working dogs are bred to be extremely high drive, very sharp, and somewhat standoffish (doesn't lend itself to being a friendly house pet).  The training normally improves how they interact with the family, but I don't think they make good pets.   Working dogs are bred to work.  Not to lay around and play.   0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. If I swung a fuzzy critter looking object in front of Sally's face like that she would tug it too.
