The course is on the blacktop, there is a pad under the teeter! It's a beginning class, so the jumps were not high (Marley pretty much could walk over them). So, I don't think it's too bad for the joints! If the course was on dirt or grass, I don't think I could keep Marley's nose off of the ground at this point! So, I'm glad there are less distractions. We will be continuing with the beginning class again this summer. Marley still has a lot of puppy in him and can be unreliable at times. He comes when called, but is easily distracted.
I don't know if we did all of the obstacles...there was the weave poles, dog walk, 3 jumps, the chute, tunnel, A-frame (Marley's favorite), the teeter...thats it, I think.
The hard part for me was to memorize the course. I think it cost us some time at the end, because I forgot what came next
