Since we are doing agility brags....

Ok, Tashakota inspired me to post our agility brag as well.

This past weekend we were at a USDAA trial. The weather was terrible, never been that cold in my entire life!! The wind was blowing 40 mph, with periods of snow (no accumulation)...and yes, we were showing outside on top of a hill...all the tents were taking a beating.

Luckily the weather did not effect Dasher in the slightest. [:)] First, we got our Agility Dog title (yay!!) [:D] We also got a Q and 1st place in Advanced Gamblers, Q and 1st in Advance Snooker and a Q and a 2nd in Advanced Jumpers. [sm=clapping hands smiley.gif] Didn't sign up for pairs as I wanted to concentrate on our title, plus we didn't really need another leg. [:D] WooHoo!! I was so proud of my little guy!! He did great.

    Ok...brag time over!![;)]

    Yea Dasher!!!

I'm entered this weekend, but Mother Nature may have other plans.  They're calling for up to 2 feet of snow in places.  [:@][:'(][:@][:'(]

In other news, my new baby did a big teeter yesterday.  The noise bothered her a little, as I thought it might, so we'll do some more desensitizing when the weather is better.  She's already done all the contacts at her own insistance.  And the back of hte sofa, the top of the dogfood container, the top of a small cooler (she looked like one of those elephants balancing on a ball), etc.

I guess agility brag time wasn't over after all.  [:)]

Congratulations Dasher!!!  You really cleaned up!  [:)]

Kota says he's jealous because all he has so far is his Standard title.  And that took a year!  lol...  but we're only entering 2 to 3 classes a day.

Way to go agilebasenji! I have always thought the teeter as a tough obstacle for softer dogs. When I had my Dal, the teeter was something we really had to work on. I thought it would be the weaves, but it was the movement and sound of the teeter that was tough for my Dal.

Tashakota - Dasher says at the rate he is progressing, he has no doubt Kota will take the agility world by storm!![;)]

    my agility brag?

using the channelling method (i call it the zig zag method) Buster is very quickly learning to weave. i can start to see his body have to twist around the poles as i move them closer in. he's such a quick learner
