when I use the NB without "grains" all yeast and red dirty ears go away

That's exactly the same for me. Sassy had non-stop yeasty ears from the day we rescued her. Within a month of switching her to NB Duck & Potato, never one more ear problem. Unfortunately, the change in food did not help with the other skin problems though, but I'm happy about the ears [

Not all dogs are the same just like people

This food has alot in it, so please mix it with the food you dog's eating now for about 1 week, while slowly taking away the old food. Hopefully this will prevent gas and loose stool.

This is the main problem I hear with people who try or even take home a sample of NB. I discovered that most of these people did not mix it with the old food.

My dog didn't like it--either the duck and potato canned or the duck and potato dry. I finally had to go back to the feed and seed and return the bag and get wellness instead. My dog is a very picky eater, though! I think that every dog is different and they definitely have their likes and dislikes. I will say the lady at the feed and seed said both wellness and NB are very rich foods and the dog will eat much smaller amounts. This is what is good about both brands--less poop b/c there is less filler and I noticed that there were no loose stools on either brand. If your dog likes it them go for it! On a side note NB also makes those rolls of dog food that seem like a dog would really like. I think you can slice them like a sausage and use for treats or to supplement dry food.
