• Kristen Posted : 7/12/2006 3:06:46 PM I'm not sure what is in them. They were sold individually at my local pet store. It is a "healthy" type of pet store, so I am sure it can't be that bad. It was labbelled 'pepperoni treat'. It was not the pupperoni treats. I will stay away from the grocery store pepperoni. • dogslyfe Posted : 7/12/2006 3:09:36 PM Just in case someone is reading and *doesn't* know, the "Pupperoni" treats that I've seen have onion powder in them. Onion is a NONO for dogs, and I refuse to risk it - particularly when one often gives quite a few treats while training. As for the real stuff, between the spices and the nitrates I believe I'd forgo the pepperoni. I, however, am willing to sacrifice for the team. You may send it to me - accompanied by a big old crusty crust and some cheese & sauce. See, I only have your best interests at heart!!
