Okay - I will consider myself (and Colby) very fortunate not to have experienced the fire-hydrant butt -wow! We've been lucky with just the pudding butt - but man is the little fellow sore! Usually when his temp is taken, he doesn't even notice, but yesterday he screamed like a little girl. It took the vet and two techs to hold him long enough to get a reading.
The good news is, I think the microbial gel, the bland diet, and time have helped his upset. He didn't go since noon yesterday (which of course got me worried about the opposite problem - ha), but this morning he was back to normal - no pudding or straining. [

] He's acting like he feels better too - remembering how fun being a brat is.
Ha- that's okay about not realizing he is an RR - sometimes I think I've been given a horse in disguise!
