    Innova..

Im sorry if this has been posted already but I cant find it...

The Innova regular (I got small bites actually) has 57 more kcals/cup than the puppy formula.  I dont understand this.  So, anyway... I just switched Bailey to the regular... so I need to feed less??  Whats the puppy formula good for then, just to make us feel better?? lol.

I guess Im wondering if I need to reduce the feeding a bit to match what shes been getting or is it higher for a reason.  Either way the serving on the bag is the same as on the puppy bag for her weight.  I was thinking since she is still a puppy I was going to need to add a bit, then realized it was actually more kcals by leaving it the same... was just surprised by this.

    Any opinions?

If it is more kcal, I would just feed less :)

I noticed the same thing before and it didn't make any sense to me either that the adult formula would have more calories. [&:]

It's probably calories from protein or carbs rather than calories from fat as seen in most puppy formulas.  Don't forget that the source of the calories determines where it ends up :)
