Does New Balance still have Menadione

I compared my bags ingredients to the one online and the only difference is my bag has listed vitamin K supplement and the one online has vitamin K1 Supplement???

My bag list Best by 09-June-07 23:38DP, so am I to assume that this bag contains Menadione?????? This is the Sweet Potato & Fish Formula

I just received the following official statement from Natural Balance in regards to Menadione:

Please know that the Vitamin K Supplement is no longer in the Natural Balance dog and cat formulas. All of our new bags dated with the year 2007 will no longer have Vitamin K Supplement. Please note, that at this time we are working on removing this from the ingredient listing.

So when buying Natural Balance foods, make sure you don't pick up any of the remaining old bags with a 2006 date.

My bag is listed as stated above good until 06.2007, and it still has Vitamin K Supplement listed, I understand that it takes time for use the old bags. I compared my bag against their home page which list Vitamin K1 Supplement - is this different from Vitamin K Supplement??

So my question is do I have the old bag that contains Menadione and on the home page does Vitamin K1 Supplement mean that they still have Menadione in their product??

I think the best representative who could answer your query would be Natural Balance itself. Try sending them an e-mail and hopefully they will reply quickly.
