• 3guysandagirl Posted : 5/29/2006 10:26:43 PM I  bought the fresh mix puppy food for the new puppy I just got, he seems to like it, and so far is doing very good on it. I wanted to try the rotation thing so I got the fresh mix  adult  and started to mix it with the Innova for my other dogs they liked it at first, but then started picking at there food, but in fairness to the food I probably didn't give it a fair enough chance or keep them on it long enough because the last couple days they've been picking at there Innova so it could of just been the hotter weather or the new canned food I used, so I'm sure I will try it again. 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • angelamarie Posted : 5/31/2006 1:43:13 PM I tried my two on Artemis at one point, recommended by a fellow poodle owner.  It was a bit of a disaster.  Aretemis is a very complex food, many, many different things in it.  I introduced it very slowly, over the course of two weeks, mixing it with the old food.  By the end of week two, my older dog had bowel problems and both dogs were, for the first time, chowing down on the grass in the back yard.  As soon as I put them back on their previous food, all of the problems stopped.  0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available. • christina Posted : 5/31/2006 5:14:15 PM I had my puppy on the Fresh Mix Puppy Kibble.  At first, everything seemed to be going well, I mixed it in with the old kibble we were feeding, but after a while, he stopped eating his dry food and when I mixed this mixture with some wet, he would eat all the wet and spit out the dry.  I didn't have any real problems with it and I'm sure if I continued to feed it and didn't offer Winston a buffet of other choices, I would still have him on the Artemis. We are almost out of it, so I didn't mind switching at the time.
