Bully Sticks

    Bully Sticks

Wesley loves them, but doesn't guard them, which makes them the perfect chew bone for him (ie - to keep him happy and busy chewing)...  Do they provide any of the benefits that a RMB does for teeth and dental health though?

Well, I don't think you can compare it to a RMB.  But, I do notice a difference in Willow's teeth when she has one.

My dogs love them and they seem to do a good job on their teeth, but RMBs (I give mine frozen marrow bones once or twice a week) do a great job and are much cheaper.  My vet couldn't believe how great Tanker's teeth look (he's 11) and he has never had a dental!

Marrow bones are actually recreational bones, not RMBs[:D] RMBs are bones that they actually eat.

Mine like bully sticks, and I'd buy them more often if they lasted more than 15 minutes....

I am with you Jennie DArci goes through them pretty fast.

Mine love bully sticks and they're super cheap on eBay. Well... compared to buying them at the pet store they are. I get them for as little as .50 each for 6" and $1 each for 12" plus shipping.

If RMBs aren't marrow bones, what are they?  I have two Shih Tzu and they have long hair on their faces.  I feed them raw ground meat (with a special mix from Know Better Dog Food) and they are such a mess after they eat that I have to clean their faces off with a wash cloth.  I'd be cleaning them off all day long if I gave them raw bones too.  Any suggestions?
They love bully sticks too, but my older one has jaws like a Pit Bull and eats through them pretty quick.

Sally loves them, but they don't last long. She gets them for special occasions.

Kelly- so sorry, I've confused you by using the wrong terminology.  My bad!  RMBs are raw bones with meat that the dogs eat for a meal- like chicken wings, pork necks, etc.  Marrow bones are not RMBs since they don't get eaten, just gnawed on.
