Nature's Logic - Are these prices reasonable?

I found an online store (in county where I live) that sells Nature's Logic (cheapest I have found).  Are these dry kibble prices pretty comparable nationwide?

26.4 lbs duck and salmon $48.00
26.4 lbs venison dinner fare $54.00

Shipping is free for order over $50.00

    p.s.
    I am slowly going broke...lol

for less than that you could feed Timberwolf Organics and the quality is equal. I like Timberwolf a TON better, even as a company, and that's saying A LOT because I don't really care for Timberwolf as a company. But I LOVE their products.

And those prices there are a bit expensive.
Granted, you don't get the combo of salmon AND duck, which I would love to give my dog, but I can buy a cheaper duck kibble and top it with some canned salmon for the same, yet cheaper, effect.

I'm sorry, the guy from Nature's Logic kind of sort of irritated me with his email reply to me once. I don't much care for what he had to say and it said a lot to me about the company's beliefs.

    That's just my two cents.[:D]

We started carrying Natures Logics and I took a couple bags home for my cats. We have had three customers already return the rabbit bacuse their cats threw up on it. Mine hadn't been, so I kept feeding  it. Yesterday one of my cats started throwing up. I'm not sure it's the food..but it seems strange that the same complaint has come from others too. I was reading the bag on the rabbit cat food and it states "Natures Logic Natural Rabbit Dinner Fare Feline Formula is intended for intermitten or supplemental feeding only" However lower on the bag it gives a "daily feeding amount". I'm not sure exactly what that means..but I'm going to call and ask. It is expensive compared to other foods we carry.

I fed Nature's Logic dry for about eight months and now have switched to Orijen which I also have to buy online. My dog did well on Nature's Logic and liked it very much. She just loves Orijen and is one of the only foods she will devour without mixing something in it. I still use Nature's Logic canned and Evanger's canned formula's...both excellent foods.
I order Nature's Logic from doggiefood.com formerly Alpha Nutrition. Tony is great to deal with. I hope he is able to get Orijen soon. I order it from Florida at only4pets, a very good online service, but doggiefood.com is closer to me and I like dealing with them.

what does shipping usually cost you from doggiefood.com?

because a 33 lb. bag of TO's Ocean blue is ONLY $41.99 there. It's on sale. And THAT'S a sale.

I feed Nature's Logic, but I have a small dog so I don't have to buy a large bag.  Joey has done better on Nature's Logic than any other dog food.  He used to have slimy pooh problems and constipation problems.  Also the food made him look so much younger.  He used to have cloudy eyes, which I think were symptomatic of siezures (I've only seen him have 2 mild ones), but after feeding Nature's Logic his eyes cleared and I haven't had any siezure type problems since.  I've always feed natural foods.  He was fed Solid Gold Wee Bits before Nature's Logic.

I have tried Timberwolf, his pooh was greasy on it.  Tiberwolf is a great food though.

According to Nature's Logic, their rabbit formulas of certain dates are supposed to be pulled of the shelf. On the other hand, I've heard that the other cat formulas (chicken and duck) have done wonders for hairballs and diabetes in cats.  Infact there's an active post about cat foods were someone talked about how great Nature's Logic was for their cats.  My company distributes Nature's Logic.  The small stores that have time to talk to their customers and try different foods on their own pets are thrilled with Nature's Logic and it is the #1 selling food in 2 of the 4  stores that sell it in my territory. The other 2 are large chains.  Again, once people try it, they stick with it.  Apparently, many people are finding that it is worth the price.

I haven't purchased dry food from doggiefood.com aka Alpha Nutrition because they don't sell Orijen yet. I buy canned Evanger's and Nature's Logic from them and the shipping for 24 cans is about $8.00. Go to the website and give Tony a call. He is very good to deal with and I am sure he will give you the best shipping prices around. I hope that he will be selling Orijen soon as well.

i just did a test order and the shipping to NC was $14.14 for 1 bag of OB which makes it more pricey than direct from TO

I did a test order on a case of Nature's Variety canned and the total was $15 more than petfooddirect.com. I'm sure that's a great place but it always pays to shop around.

Where did you get this info from? I can't find anything on their web site stating that.

It was a long time ago, like in November.  I work for a company that distributes it.  I would check the date of the Nature's Logic food.  Nature's Logic made a marketing booboo when they first arrived on the market.  They didn't market the food at all and alot of their first batch expired before it was sold.  Check the date on the rabbit cat.  You may find that you bought an expired bag.

All of natures Logic is intermitant use.  Look at the bags, its not even a complete diet and will probably cause problems if used long term.  As far as the company, they have horrible customer support.  I called to get information on the product and all they kept telling me was " its the best".  Well I can tell you is that its not.

I have been feeding Orijen and am extreamly happy with it.  I was feeding Evo and no comparison, the Orijen kicks butt.

Only 4 posts total and all recommend Orijen....maybe you work for them?

I think you're mistaken. They did AAFCO feeding trials last August, and are now "complete and balanced for all life stages".

I gave some of the Nature's Logic Duck and Salmon dry kibble to my 6 month-old lab (I mixed it with his current kibble, 1/3 Nature's Logic to 2/3 current kibble) for a second time.  Again, I noticed that he is eating the food faster than when it is just his normal kibble.  My husband commented that the doggie must be starving.  I told him I don't think so.  I think it is because he likes the taste of it.
