Wellness-Innova-Newman-Wysong/ ???

I know I feel horrible....[>:]  Ive never done it... not since Ive learned what I have here.  I usually mix a little canned chunk chicken, beef broth, cheese, veggies, jack mackeral... things like that to the dry.  Bailey just quit eating it one day, acted hungry but looked at the food like I was crazy.  So I went to the health pet store and got a bunch of cans of EP fish and some Wellness varieties as well... which she didnt really seem to want either.  So... one day about a week ago at Wal Mart I was getting them stuffies on the dog isle and looked at the ingredients in the Beneful and decided that it wasnt THAT bad and see if they liked it.  I bought two containers of it... and they loved it.  She didnt even think about eating, just ate.  Was going to get more but then I saw this.  I feel horrible even though the food is not on the list at this time, I knew whe buying it I probably shouldnt just for the fact that I know better.
 
I went back to the heath store today and got some Canidae in a can.  I hope she likes it.  I will try the baby food thing too, seems like a great idea.

Baby food frequently has onions in it for flavoring --- I read this on a list of foods to be careful with when feeding dogs.

Try adding warm water to her food so it makes it more of a gravy.  Also, the only company I know makes it is Iams which is not good, but maybe others make it too... there is a sauce to pour over the food... comes in a bottle and adds more meet flavor, etc.

Wouldn't it be on the ingredient list? The Sweet Potato & Turkey one I got reads: Sweet Potatoes, Water and Ground Turkey.

Yikes, we were on Wellness a couple months ago..

I always check for the onion flavoring, I quit giving them canned veggies because its on there ... even the cans that say no salt added.
 
Wellness is still being sold at the dog health food store in my area and they said that there is no wheat or wheat gltuen in Wellness... or any of their products actually.  Anyway, I did look for myself... and there isint... so I dont see why anyone would worry about Wellness.... unless I missed something.
 
I always do the warm water thing, just because in my head Im preventing bloat just a bit lol... I will put organic beef broth and heat it and she still turns her nose.  I hate to think its brattiness rather than just a taste thing for her, because some stuff she scarfs and its not anything special.  I dunno.  She ate the chicken Canidae tonight though, sniffed at it a bit but ate it just fine... []  So Im happy lol...
 
The lady at the store knows me since Im always in there to buy Innova, and I mean always, since I buy the small bites and they dont sell it in big bags... why I dont buy a bunch at once I dont know.. maybe it gives me an excuse to pick up stuffies...[]   Anyway, I was talking to her about it for a while and was ashamed to tell her what Id done with Beneful lol...   and she didnt hold back to tell me how awful a food it is.... but I knew it was comming... they dont sell anything there other than Nat Bal, Welness, Innova, EP, Caniade, EVO... etc... I knew I was in for it...
