    Sensible Choice Catfish formula

I know a few people here feed Sensible Choice, they came out with a catfish formula.  My dog is a picky eater, but she loves the Sensible Choice foods, but she doesn't seem to like foods with fish in it, so I am curious to see if she would like this.

That's funny you mentioned that your picky eater doesn't like fish because Wolfie will refuse any canned food that has alot of fish in it (as well as fresh fish).  I haven't tried a dry food that is fish based but I assume it would be the same.  lol   (I on the other hand am a fish-a-holic [8D]).

I do wish that it didn't contain brewers yeast as my parents 13 yo cocker spaniel has horrible allergies; one of them being that.  I have been looking to switch him to a fish based formula (isn't it funny how I buy his food but I don't live there? lol  anyways....) because he has had an on-going yeasty ear problem that hasn't gone away despite meds & topical ear treatments.  However, his skin does look fabulous.  Right now he is on Cal. Natural Lamb & Rice and has been for the past year, so I'm trying to find something that I can just tell my parents to get at Petco or Petsmart so I don't have to take a day out of my week to go buy the food and take it all the way to their house, lol.

I have been happy with the Sensible Choice foods, she usually doesn't like lamb food either, but she does like the Sensible Choice Lamb, so who knows maybe she will like there fish also, but I can picture her taking one whiff and walking away.

Ooooo, I'm tempted to try this.

Thought I'd share this in case anyone else doesn't know, I just found out Sensible Choice has a frequent buyers program. So, if you shop at Petco you can get TWO free bags after you buy ten.  One from the Petco PALS program and one by sending your UPC codes to Sensible Choice.

Two bags free?? That is an awesome bonus!

Remember, though, that catfish is a bottom feeder. It's higher in heavy metals and toxins than fish that live in the middle or top of the water. I only feed catfish (like shrimp and other bottom feeders) as a treat.

Humm. . .I've been looking for something that has fish as the first ingredient.  But, then again, Jennie makes a good point too. [&:]
