Anyone know who Monica Segal is?

She has a website that is monicasegal.com and she is supposed to do custom diets for animals? Anybody know of this?

Funny you should start this, I've seen her mentioned here and ordered two of her booklets. They arrived today and although I haven't read them word for word yet, I'm pretty disappointed. She's VERY highly regarded in her custom diets, but you can pretty much learn the information in her booklets from the threads and links here.

she has a yahoo group, K9Kitchen I think is the title> I was on that group for a while when I was doing a lot of cooking for the dogs. She interacts with the group a lot and was/is very helpful.

Yes I am on her K9 Kitchen list, just was wondering about her booklets, was going to order them, but I did not at the last minute.
Interesting to me about her career though very interesting stuff.

Yes, I'm in her k9 kitchen group, and she's helped me out with quite a few questions, mostly when Emma was a puppy. I never bought her supplements or paid her a dime. She's a very knowledgeable and helpful person, and I would happily pay her to do a diet, if I didn't feel like I could do it myself (I couldn't afford to at the time, due to astronomical vet bills, so I figured out all the math on my own and it ended up being perfectly fine).

I ordered her book and some of her booklets and found them helpful (especially the booklet about enhancing commercial diets). I would love a consult, too, but its not in the budget right now, so, like Jennie I did the math and have created a diet that works great for my dogs. I also lurk on the yahoo board and like it, too.

I belong to her K9kitchen group and have a few of her booklets. I think she's very well educated in canine nutrition. I'm seriously considering having her formulate a diet for me if I can't get the allergy issues under control with Sassy. I might be able to figure it out on my own, but I'd feel much more confident if I had someone who knew what they were doing help me out.
