Here is the situation.
I currently have one dog, Boston Terrier, and she eats kibble (Canidae) but isn#%92t overly excited by her food. I have been interested in trying raw or home cooked or some variation for a while but time and money constraints have prevented me from doing it. I am planning on getting another dog (English Bulldog) in about a year and am already doing research on breeders around the country to find a really good one (health testing, temperament, all that jazz.) I know about the health problems they can have, which is why I#%92m making sure to get one from a good breeder with healthy lines. I also know about them having digestive sensitivity and this has made me revisit the idea of feeding a raw or home-cooked diet. Also, add in to the mix the fact that I#%92m going into the army and will be moving around every 3 or so years. This means that every time I move I#%92ll have to find another place that carries their kibble or order it by mail if I can#%92t find a place that does. So I figure it will be easier on the dogs (and me in the long run) if I eventually start feeding them raw. The point to this long ramble is to set up a question.
To those of you who feed raw (or home-cooked or whatever) what is your recipe or formula or process? Thanks for any advice.
