    Fish Treats

I'm looking for a fish chew, preferably something that will last longer then 5 seconds. Does anyone have any experience with any of these?

I haven't tried the tilapia jerky. I tried the Snack 21 bones. They last.... less than five minutes. Teenie isn't a heavy chewer, and only weighs 11 pounds. Emma is a super duper destructo doggy, at 18 pounds. Emma crunched them like treats. The icelandic fish skins lasted a little longer, but they were too much protein for Emma, or too something. They didn't agree with her. They both REEK.

I have tried the snack 21 fish bones too. The Dachshund I gave one to spent about 15 minutes downing his..but my 71 pound guy was done in about 5 minutes. They both loved them. I don't know of any fish treat that will last for any length of time. The ones I bought were $1.99 each and only about 4" long..do they make bigger ones?

I haven't seen bigger ones. Mine are small, too. I still have some, because Emma doesn't get them (I can't decide if it's the fat or the protein, but she can't have much dried fish), and I just give them to Teenie when Emma has something extra tasty. I'll buy Emma some Nature's Variety rabbit ears, and give Teenie a salmon bone while Emma eats her ear.

jennie, have you tried the Nature's Variety rabbit ears?  If so, how long did they last?  I have to admit they creeped me out a little bit, but I think Zoe would like them.

Yeah, the pups LOVE the rabbit ears. They're not extremely long lasting, but nothing is around here. My dogs are food whores, and destructo maniacs[;)] The bunny ears last 5-10 minutes, usually. Not too bad, for how yummy and healthy they are.
