Fish Treats

• jennie_c_d Posted : 11/13/2006 11:03:17 PM I haven't tried the tilapia jerky. I tried the Snack 21 bones. They last.... less than five minutes. Teenie isn't a heavy chewer, and only weighs 11 pounds. Emma is a super duper destructo doggy, at 18 pounds. Emma crunched them like treats. The icelandic fish skins lasted a little longer, but they were too much protein for Emma, or too something. They didn't agree with her. The Dachshund I gave one to spent about 15 minutes downing his..but my 71 pound guy was done in about 5 minutes. They both loved them. I don't know of any fish treat that will last for any length of time. I still have some, because Emma doesn't get them (I can't decide if it's the fat or the protein, but she can't have much dried fish), and I just give them to Teenie when Emma has something extra tasty. My dogs are food whores, and destructo maniacs[] The bunny ears last 5-10 minutes, usually.
