Blue Cheese Ball
Ingredients
2 (8 oz.) packages of cream cheese
1 (4 oz.) package of crumbled blue cheese
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
¼ cup finely chopped onion
1 Tbs. Worcestershire sauce
1 (4 oz.) package of sunflower seeds
Directions
1. Beat cheese, onion, and sauce in small bowl on low speed until combined.
2. Beat on medium speed until fluffy, cover and refrigerate until firm.
3. Shape into ball, roll in sunflower seeds, cover and refrigerate for at least two hours.
This next one is low fat and amazing! No one can ever tell, even DH who is always on the look out for me substituting low fat stuff!
Ingredients
2 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese
½ cup fat-free sour cream
¼ cup grated fresh parmesan cheese
¼ tsp. pepper
3 garlic cloves, crushed
1 (14 oz.) can artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 (8 oz.) block 1/3 less-fat cream cheese, softened
1 (8 oz.) block fat-free cream cheese, softened
1 pkg. frozen chopped spinach, thawed, drained, and squeezed dry
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350º
2. Combine 1½ cup mozzarella, sour cream, 2 Tbs. parmesan, and next 6 ingredients in a large bowl, and stir until well-blended. Spoon mixture into a ½ quart baking dish.
3. Sprinkle with ½ cup mozzarella and 2 Tbs. parmesan. Bake at 350º for 20 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
