    I have a craving-need a recipe

I am looking for a recipe for pumpkin roll/log?  You know, the cake type desert served at thanksgiving that has the cake rolled up with (creamcheese) filling?  It looks like a giant hoho, but it's not chocolate, it's pumpkin?

If anyone has a recipe for this, please pass it on-I'd be greatful(and so would DH), as I am craving this and thanksgiving is too far away!!

    Thanks, Meg

    Ingredients:

    3 eggs

    3/4 c. flour

    4 tbsp. soft butter

1 tsp. each of cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg

    2/3 c. pumpkin

    1 c. chopped pecans

    1 c. granulated sugar

    8 oz. cream cheese

    1/2 tsp. vanilla extract

    1/2 c. powdered sugar

    1 teaspoon baking soda

    Steps:

    1.
    Grease an 11-by-17-inch jelly-roll pan.

    2.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

    3.
Beat the eggs and sugar together, then add the pumpkin.

    4.
    Stir in the dry ingredients.

    5.
Spread cake mixture evenly on the jelly-roll pan.

    6.
Bake for 10 to 15 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the cake comes out clean (no batter on it).

    7.
Sprinkle the a little powdered sugar on a flat dish towel.

    8.
Remove cake from oven and turn it out onto the sugared dish towel.

    9.
Starting from one of the short sides, roll cake up in dish towel and let cool (at least half an hour or until the cake is no longer warm).

    10.
Cream together the cream cheese and butter, then stir in the powdered sugar, vanilla and nuts.

    11.
Unroll the cake and spread it with cream cheese filling, then roll back up. Don't use the dish towel this time.

    12.
Sprinkle powdered sugar on top and serve.
