I make my own treats and dogs just go crazy over them. I don't buy any commercial dog food or treats, unfortunately you can't trust the dog food companies and where they get their ingredients. I want to share how I make my treats with the dog community
I use beef heart and kidney, pork heart and kidney and sometimes boneless chicken breast. Very easy to do but it is time consuming to cut up the meat
Cut the meat into thin strips no more than a half inch put in food dehydrator, turn on high and let them dehydrate until they no longer look shiny and move around the trays without sticking.
When doing chicken remove the skin and as much fat as possible
they will come out nice and crunchy, dogs love them
ten pounds of meat will give you about one gallon size bag of treats depending on how thick you cut them.
