    Puppy food

I've been reading and reading and reading about dog foods. Many of you know my dog will be here in 2 weeks (finally) and Im just curious as to suggestions for food for an Australian Shepherd Puppy. Right now he is on Purina Pro Plan.  I've had mixed reviews on the food, I bought some so I can transitition him, but are there any good suggestions and reasons for a moderately priced puppy food?

So far the best suggestion I've found is a food called Nurto/Nurtros? But I can't seem to find it anywhere.

     Thanks!

Nutro is the name you are looking for.

Not saying yea or nay, just, that is the name.

I find reading reviews on this site helpful:  dogfoodanalysis.com

You can also look at a site called the Dogfood Project and another is called Dog Food Advisor.  All offer comparisons and info on picking a food.  When I trained and trialed retrievers we fed Purina Pro Plan with good results.  One advantage of feeding a higher quality dog food is you can usually feed less and have less poop to clean up as a benefit.  Feed the best you can comfortably afford.
