    jerky treats, smoked bones etc

They have so many treats in the first aisle of our Pet Supplies Plus store.  What's good?  I was looking at some of the pricey smoked bones with jerky around them.  My one fussy dog doesn't like bully sticks for some reason.  Any that your dogs absolutely love?  This is more for dental than just a 20 second treat.

I stay away from Jerky treats since I bought Kingdom chicken Jerky and it made my dogs and a friends dogs terribly ill. A USA or Canadian product would probably be safe (these were Chinese) but it left a bad taste in my mouth, excuse the pun. My dogs are too powerful to xhew smoked bones- they splinter them into shards. Someone at a holistic pet store told me she would never give obe to a dog over 30 pounds and I think that's about right. I give raw frozen soup bones. Once the marrow is gone you can smear peanut butter or other stuff un it to make them want it again.

The only jerky I will even consider is the all natural stuff.  Smoked bones, never.  Any heat changes the molecular structure of bones and can cause splintering which can cause all sorts of issues, including death.

My dogs get the Blue brand of jerky now and again. Generally the turkey jerky.

I saw the Blue Buffalo line of jerky the other day and would have bought it if I wasn't on a budget that day.

My real goal is to find a dehydrator at a garage sale or a thrift shop and make my own :)

We can get it through the distributor at work, so I was able to get it at just over cost, thank heavens.  My herd of gluttons probably wouldn't get it otherwise, lol.
