TOTW causing excessive stools?

I am on my third bag of the Taste of the Wild and all four of my dogs are pooping a bazillion times a day. It is ridiculous. They each seem to go every time I take them out. Their stools are smaller, but they are also rock hard. I have never had this happen before even when we were on this food. I go out with them each time when they potty and pick up after them anyway, but if I didn't my yard would be covered after just one day.

Has anyone else experienced this with this food? I am switching them back to something else and probably won't ever come back to TOTW. It just is crazy how much they are going each day.

I haven't experienced this. Everybuddy goes maybe 3 times...a day, but typically twice. But different foods affect different dogs, well, differently.

I'd be changing foods too, if I were you. But, do you think you maybe are overfeeding?

I don't think I'm overfeeding, but maybe I am? Benny, who is 11 lbs gets 1/3 cup 2x a day. Max, who is 50 lbs gets 1 cup 2x a day. And Finn and Chief who are 30 and 38 lbs get 3/4 cup 2x a day. I feel like if I feed them any less they will be starving. Does it sound like too much for any of them? They all seem to be a good weights, so I wasn't thinking anything of it, but then...there is all the poop! lol

It seems they each go about 4-5 times a day. They go at least twice in the morning and then various times throughout the day. I've had them on this food before with normal results, so I'm not sure why they are reacting differently. I'm trying to remember which flavor I picked up last time, but I'm not sure. I suppose it could be that making a difference.

Maybe its the protein source, but unlikely. The amounts you feed don't seem excessive to me. Maybe if you put them on the original flavor and stay with that for a while...see if it makes a difference.

I've been feeding TOTW (Pacific stream) for the past year and half or so and I've never had this problem. Dahlia usually just goes once a day, occasionally twice, and sometimes skips a day. She only eats 3/4 of a cup a day (and gets canned food mixed in for her second meal). For a 50 pound dog she doesn't eat much!
