Someone on here before posted about making sweet potatoe treats and ALL my dogs LOVE them!  They're super healthy for them also.

Can't seem to find the thread now though.

Go look at nutrition/recipes....there was an awesome Liver treat recipe just a few weeks ago.  I think it was from Springer but not sure.

Can't get any easier than mixing a can of pumpkin with some oatmeal, spread out on a cookie sheet and bake.  How much oatmeal depends on the size can of pumkin.  I think I used 4 cups with a large can.  Baking time varies, too- depending on how thin you roll the "dough" out.  I've used canned dog food or meats instead of the pumpkin.  You can use bananas, too.

I got this recipe from my trainer. They seem to be universally liked.

    Tuna or Salmon Treats

12 oz (2 cans) tuna or salmon...actually you can also use the canned chicken)
    1 1/2 C flour
    2 eggs
    1/4 tsp garlic powder

Mix togther. Bake at 350 degrees in a greased 9x9 pan for 20 minutes.

Cool, cut into bite sized training treats, freeze extra portions.

I do something similar for Jessie, but I use a pound of lean ground beef instead because she's allergic to fish. I mix it with about a quarter cup of pureed vegetables, an egg, a quarter cup of bread crumbs, and some garlic powder, then bake it.
