    Maze has some weird tastes...Lol

So far I've learned that she likes squash, zucchini and carrots.

So are there any veggies that she CAN'T have?? I know onions, raisins, ect.  Also is couscous is a good alternative to grains? She LOVES couscous. Lol.

Oh! And she likes cucumber. Lol

Couscous is a grain - it's in the wheat family.  If she has not problems with wheat, you could use it in place of rice.

I prefer mine with a bit of butter and parmesan on it.  LOL

She's never had a problem with couscous so I think I'll stick with it. Rice, she pulls her fur out. *sigh* Lol.

Quinoa is also a good choice it is a seed not a grain so there is less chance of allergy and also is highly digestible compared to rice or oats. If you choose to use them make sure and rinse well before cooking. The amino acids are an extra bonus for skin and coat. Nutrients in Quinoa One cup (cooked) quinoa contains eight grams of protein, nearly twice the amount found in other grains. Quinoa is a complete protein, meaning it provides the body all nine essential amino acids. In addition to being a good source of protein, quinoa also contains: iron calcium potassium zinc vitamin E selenium manganese magnesium tryptophan copper phosphorus fiber lignans Read more at Suite101: Quinoa Nutrition Facts: Health Benefits of Seed High in Vitamins, Minerals and Antioxidants http://food-facts.suite101.com/article.cfm/nutritional_benefits_of_quinoa#ixzz0xTKoUe4z

Holy crap! I didn't know it was that healthy. I may have to look into that.

Oh I'm so excited to try Quinoa in my crock pot food I cook for the girls.... I've been adding oatmeal and a little rice and they're still having some itching issues, so this gives me an alternate option to try. Thanks!

Check out "Tuscan Natural". Their website is tuscannatural.com The web site is not very helpful, but my buddy Cagney loves the food and looks better than he ever has. I am currently feeding the Harvest blend, and his skin and coat is unreal. I always thought that Innova was the best, but i will admit that I was wrong. As far as Halo goes, Cags tried it, but didn't eat it worth a hoot. He just didn't seem that interested in it. Hope my little bit of soap box helps. :-) E

Couscous is a tiny pasta, basically, made from wheat.    My dogs love quinoa, it has a very nutty flavor, very good with butter :)

Couscous would definitely be better than rice, specially if your dog is not allergic to it. Also, cucumbers are mostly water, so adding cucumbers to your dog's diet shouldn't be a problem either.

Sounds normal to me.  Then again, maybe Caleb has some weird tastes, too.  I haven't found a fruit or vegetable yet that he doesn't like.

Sue, Maze is a dog that will suck lemons, eat pickles and LOVES hot stuff. The hotter the better.. Made her chewing stage interesting to say the least. LOL

OMG, except for the hot stuff, she sounds like Caleb (I just haven't given him any hot stuff).  Dang dog loves oranges and lemons.  I just remembered, I did find a vegetable he doesn't like- raw spinach.  I put some in his dish one day and continues making dinner.  Only to turn around a few minutes later and find every single leaf on the floor.  And his dish was empty at the time I put the spinache in, too.
