    Needing suggestions

So Daisy is turning 14 on July 29th and I wanna bake her a cake or homemade bones something to celebrate her and give her something special she's had it ruff the past 2 years with losing her eye sight and eyes Sad but she's doing the best she can and I just wanna do something very very special for her.

If anyone know any recipes to make a doggie cake or bones please share thank you  Wow July 1st was a year her eyes were removed :(

Daisy is doing great except for when she forgets things lol or decides she's gonna pace around the house until she finally knows what she wants to do. Lately I've been telling her to relax so much she's probably sick of hearing it from me.

I'm bad and my dogs all get human cupcakes on their birthdays. I figure a small bit a few times each year isn't going to kill them. (we use dog appropriate pieces...Newt does not get a whole cupcake ;) )

When I made homemade dog cookies, I always substituted a non sugar ingredient in the recipe. So I'd use applesauce, honey, etc. depending on the amount needed.

Basically meatloaf with mashed potato "frosting"!!!  I pooped out on trying it but it was my plan for Willow's gotcha day last month, LOL!  My husband was so disappointed, LOL!

Three Dog Bakery has some really pretty doggy cupcakes and cakes.  I'm not sure if you have a franchise near you though.  I have a couple in the freezer for special treats throughout the year.

I think a receipe for doggy treat muffins could be altered to a good dog cake.  With cream cheese frosting, :D.

    Happy Birthday to your girl!

I always made a layer cake for Mick with a couple of those big, thin dog biscuits.  I used a mixture of meat human baby food and whipped cream cheese for the icing, and little pieces of training treats for decoration.  For Caleb I mix either canned pumpkin, dog food or 100% meat with some oatmeal.  One year I tried to shape it into a bone.  Last year I put some of the mixture into a muffing tin and baked at 350 (can't remember how long).  The rest I just flattened out on a cookie sheet for training treats.

you can make a carrot cake or muffins and just use 1 mashed banana and 1/2 cup apple sauce or just 1 cup of apple sauce instead of sugar. Use brown rice flour or oat flour instead of white flour---------This is my 2 dogs favorite cookie Doggie Cookies 2 cups of oat or brown rice flour 1 cup old fashion oats 1 cup sunflower or pumpkin seeds 1 tablespoon nutritional yeast (optional ) 4 tablespoons ground flax seed 3 tablespoons olive oil 1/4 cup apple sauce 2 eggs with 1/4 cup rice milk or water Mix all dry ingredients together in large bowl. Mix all wet ingredients in small bowl . Then mix both together and knead together for a few minutes. , then put on greased 17x11x 1 inch cookie sheet and roll out to fill cookie sheet. Cut in even squares and then bake at 350 for 30 minutes. for a change add 1/4 cup blueberries , 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, banana, If batter gets a little sticky kneed in a little more flour.
