    I love feeding raw!!

So if my math is right, Sandy gets 0.26lbs a day which works out to about 8lbs of food a month.. 8lbs!!  My only complaint is variety.. Lol.  I'm talking to the butcher right now about buying full animals. I'd rather just toss Sandy a small chicken or something once a day.

But her coat is amazing, her teeth are getting cleaner. And she's soooo soft.

I feed about 8lbs in a week LOL

Bailey gets aprox 1.25lbs a day (little more or less depending on activity) so that works out to be about 35lbs a month I think.

I love feeding raw too, I dont think I'll ever feed kibble again.

Bugsy needs 2-3lbs a day Sad I feed him raw as much as I can but between his allergies and the sheer amount it gets very expensive for us

My three eat a combined total of 25.5 oz per day, or just over 1.5 lbs.

You'll be surprised at what "averages" you will notice change depending on the dog. Gaci, my smallest girl at 14 lbs eats 8.5 oz per day. That is more like 4% of her weight compared to the 2-3% average. Zipper, my largest boy at 17 lbs eats less than her, at 7.5 oz per day. So it can really vary.

Right now I want to take about a pound off Sandy so really I should be decreasing her food a tiny bit.  I wish Maze would enjoy the raw but she doesn't so we make do with high quality kibble.

Holy cow, I am so envious of ya'll. I can't imagine feeding 8 pounds a month, or even a week for that matter.

We feed a little over 60 pounds a week. (7 dogs) Bevo is not an easy keeper. He eats a 3.5-4 pounds a day. (About 5% of his body weight.) Cher eats four meals a day, two kibble, & two raw. Her raw meals total up to a little over 2 pounds a day. She does seem to be filling out, so hopefully, I'll be able to start cutting her back soon. Everyone else eats between 2-3% of their weight.  I do make adjustments to their meals as needed.

Even though we feed a lot, it still comes out cheaper for us to feed raw than it does to feed kibble, & our guys do so much better on raw than they did on kibble.
