    Best bones for small dogs

I just got my mini dachsie (10 lbs.) some Honest Kitchen food.  I'd like to supplement it sometimes with raw meaty bones.  Which would you suggest?

Also, for those familiar with the food, I am feeding 1/4 cup 2x a day.  How should I alter that based on the bones?

My ferrets (about 2-3lbs ) eat chicken wings, and chicken legs/thighs bones. They can also eat some pork bones (as long as they are small).
They love Cornish Game Hens, they can eat all the bones in them with no problems at all.

A big treat here for chewing are pig's feet now. The dogs have decided they are a favorite and they will last the dogs about 3-4 days before they are gone or I decide to chuck 'em out.

Are the pig's feet from the grocery store or pet store?

I know Zoe likes chicken legs... and I give them skinless.  I am not sure how much I should reduce her food when giving it though.  She eats them pretty quickly and chicken necks are gone in like 30 seconds.  Not sure if I should even bother with necks.

You can get raw pigs feet from the regular grocery store. If you find them at a pet store they will probably be smoked like pigs ears.

I wouldnt give Zoe chicken necks if she eats them that quickly. Bailey cant have chicken necks, they are way to small and he will swallow the whole thing without chewing it. Try turkey necks instead, they are much bigger and take longer to chew.

WOW, you're lucky. Pigs feet (whole) with Bailey lasts about... maybe 5 minutes, at the most.

I get mine from my local grocery store, they usually come already frozen for me.

Yeah, one pig's foot in weight would likely be a couple days of food for one of my dogs! So they get it as a rec chew, moreso on the days I feed ground or boneless meals to keep their jaws and teeth healthy.
