    are these entirely edible?

Bailey thinks they are Stick out tongue

He has eaten a whole one before without any problems. But I normaly dont let him eat the whole thing, I take the bone away from him once he has cleaned all the meat off.

These are in chunks and i was hopeful the bone was soft enough to be fully edible - I'll wait for more input before feeding

I let mine go to town on them. Though unless there is a huge amount of meat on them (and there usually is not) I consider them a rec bone, versus a meal.  So, on a day that I didn't get them as much exercise they'll get a beef neck bone, pigs foot, knuckle or morrow bone, something that requires a lot of work.  I don't know I'd give it to a truly agressive chewer, though, they are pretty tough.  By that I mean a dog who will chew a bone to their own detriment, they have to be aware of what they are and are not capable of.

And yes, both Logan and Aryn has eaten a neck bone :)  I say go for it, unless you think Bugs will take out a tooth to make a dent in the bone.

thanks Lani - I'll give him a chunk and see what happens, he's a strong chewer but I don't think he'd bust a tooth

Only small issue now is that they are in chunks not whole so he could potentially swallow it but he doesn't tend to do that  - my grocery store had them marked to 50 cents/lb so I thought I would try it

BTW I tried to ring you from the store thinking you'd know the answer but the number I have is defunct
