Tracking for small dogs......

• Tracking for small dogs...... Mechanical Angel Posted : 4/6/2010 7:05:21 PM Brownie did a test run for tracking at a local field nearby us. The organization was moving on to Omaha though so he cant track through this place in town. So, I'm looking for some tracking clubs in my area thinking Brownie would have some fun. But, I know little to nothing about tracking. Anyone wanna kinda fill me in on the main details? Please and Thank-You!! • shamrockmommy Posted : 4/7/2010 9:40:33 AM I actually don't remember the hows and whys of tracknig training, it was years ago and Gobie was probably about 2 or 3 yrs old at the time. I did tracking classes with him and eventually he found 2 lost dogs on 2 different occasions- an italian greyhound (and I am convinced she ran away on purpose, her humans made her a complete mental case... )  and a minpin who bolted during a thunder storm.    Gobie really is quite brilliant, wish I had done more with the stinker :) 0 LIKE Like Share You have posted to a forum that requires a moderator to approve posts before they are publicly available.
