Oooh Sim liked it when I was making his pupcakes! What should I put it in, ice trays?

You can make all sorts of sizes -- depends on what you put in it.  You can also freeze a big quart of water and put it in a big pan (like an aluminium foil pan and they then have cool water and/or something to gnaw on on a hot day.

HOWEVER -- don't give ice cubes immediately front the fridge -- they are too hard for puppy teeth and he can actually crack a tooth on it-- so soften ice in your own glass of water for a few inutes before you give it.  -- or give crushed ice if your fridge does that.

Next time you make mashed potato -- or any type of veggie that your mother may boil first -- put the water in ice cube trays -- it's full of vitamins and teaches them to like veggies.  The juice from your dinner steak -- add that to a couple of cups of water and freeze that.  There doesn't have to be much 'taste' for it to be attractive. (no salt tho)

Meat muffins! I use silicone muffin pans, and you can mix up basically anything you want. Canned dog food, leftover meat, meat bough for him, leftover veggies, fruit, broth, yogurt, cream cheese, cottage cheese, the list goes on and on, LOL. Silicone ice trays work well, too, and frozen Kong toys are always a big hit. For Emma, when she was on her special diet, I'd just run water over her kibble, and freeze it in the Kong. Otherwise, I get the Kong that holds a meal for the dog, mix a spoonful of something yummy with the kibble meal, and freeze the Kong overnight. Meals last a LOT longer, this way.

Thanks for the recipe! That's one I'm sure I'll stay away from trying. :P I'm a bit confused though, I thought garlic was bad for dogs? Some people say its good, others say its not. :-s

Garlic, in large quantities, is bad for dogs. In moderation, though, it's good for them, and most of them LOVE the taste.

Oh okay! Then I will make this for Sim when I get all the ingredients, I'm sure he'll love it. :P Thanks for clearing that up for me!

And you CAN always leave out the garlic, if he's got a touchy tummy, or if it makes you uncomfortable. Most high end foods have some in them, already.
