    Switched, again...

Its a good thing Tootsies stomache is normal. EP is getting hard to find and the price, lets see a local feed store wanted $52.99 for a 30lb bag. No thanks! So since Tootsies weight is right on the cusp of being to big. Ideally, I would like her at 22lbs, currently shes at 25lbs. 3lbs, big deal right, but 3lbs on a Corgi is a lot. Soooo, I've decided on Natural Balance Reduced Calorie formula. What do you think?

I like NB. I usually get *only* NB for Pirate during his 'seizure season' because I need something that doesn't have a lot of 'fussy' ingredients. The canned food and kibble I've gotten is always very consistent, as well. I think the kibbles are pretty low in calories as-is, so you might want to compare before deciding on the reduced calorie, but I'm just not a big fan of reduced calorie anything - I would cut back on portion size and replace the 'bulk' with some steamed veggies or something, but that's just IMO.

And also, Petco is a gigantic rip-off when it comes to NB - I used to buy it there until I compared prices at my local stores. Petco was over $2 a can, and the mom-and-pop I get it from is $1.59.

If you have a feed store, I'd check there. Here, there is a $5 difference in the bags of dry at the feed store vs Petco.
