Turkey Tails...how much meat on them?

OMG !

I just googled this question and came up with all kinds of links about how the government of American Samoa has banned the importation of turkey tails because they are horribly fatty and contributing to the health problems of that nation.

Do I really want the dog eating this???   I just have never seen them in person and don't know the nutritional value.

The price is good, but you have to be careful with them, at least IMO, because they are so fatty.  I do use them to increase the dog's fat content when they are eating really lean meat such as venison.  Otherwise, I don't feed them. 

I would worry about feeding them as a stand alone meal, & there's no way that I'd feed them to either of the boxers because they are both sensitive to fatty foods.

Agreed.  The little bit of other info I found indicated a very high fat content.
