    Nutri Source

I just started feeding Nutri Source Pure Vita. (Duck & Potato and Salmon & Potato)  I want to switch between that and EP Fish.  They seem to like it, just wondering if it is a good choice.

Pella loves the EP Fish, but it is so fishy and Abby turns her noise up at it, but likes this other brand.  Has anyone tried the NS Pure Vita?

I feed my Great Dane NutriSource - for large breed (chicken and rice) -- she loves it and it definitely agrees with her.  Although probably not a good idea to switch between brands -- not sure about your breed, but with most dogs you should keep to one brand and only slowly introduce another when you want to change brands. Anyway, my research for GDs had NS as one of those that was recommended as a good product.  Although there are others as good, or better, based on the ingredients of what it has and doesn't have, it was exactly what I was looking for.  The protein level was low -- which I found hard to find in a product that had meat as the #1 ingredient (and not by-products) where the protein level was not too high (a requirement for growing danes).  I had tried other "premium" brands (Wellness) and it did not agree with her, or her bowels (ugh!!) -- had tried other cheaper brands which did not seem to be too good for her.  Put her on NutriSource, along with some enzymes/vitamins, and she is doing great -- and her coat glistens. I am very happy with this product -- and it agrees with her:  her BMs are firm and regular, which is important when you have a 'super pooper'.  :-)

Thank you for your reply, it is always good to know what others think of a product.

Mine seem to do ok on it, and they like it. I wanted to get them to a point where they could eat more than one brand, favor.  And this seems to be working.  Thanks again.
