Right now, I think that they are all stuffed with yogurt & leftover turkey from Thanksgiving.

Willow's gonna love that, thanks for the idea!!

    Thanks to all!!

Unfortunately for me..... I have begun to realize ( or beginning to think might be more the case ) that Gibby doesn't do well with too much yogurt.   I do give him some every morning on his kibble....just about a tablespoon....but when I give him more....he gets a soft stool.  I did freeze some in a bone once when he was still in his crate...but I dont' remember what he did then.  Gibby with all his little tummy problems...might have a problem with dairy products.

Dyan, does he eat canned food?  You could use that too.

When Kobi was on prednisone I stuffed and froze marrow bones to help satisfy his hunger. The marrow was too rich for daily consumption, plus I was extremely concerned with weight gain. Kobi's favorite stuffing was a mixture of low cal canned dog food, sweet potato and green beans.

Canned food is a good idea too.  I don't usually do much more than line an inside of a bone with peanut butter.  I will also put some kibble, cheese and bread in it...but I don't freeze it.  Actually, he hasn't been barricaded in a few months...so I haven't been doing any of it...just throwing a few kibbles on the floor in the laundry room when I walk out.....thats the room his crate used to be in.... it is the room his feeding/water dish is in....and when I barricade him its where I leave a few bones with stuff in it on a blanket that used to be in his crate.
