Orjen Fish to Arcana Pacifica easy switch

We needed food and our supplier was out of Orjen Fish but had Champion's other line Arcana which makes a fish based grain free called Pacifica.  We just started it but so far absolutely no issues with changing.  The kcals/cup are about the same, protein is lower 40 vs 33 I think, fat is slightly lower too.  The kibble is larger but flatter.

Best part is it was about $10 cheaper for the 29.7lb bag.  We'll likely stick with it if no problems arise.

It really is saying something that he hasn't even gotten gas from it - usually any slight change causes gas for stinky butt.

For a while I was switching back and forth from Acana to Orijen.  Crusher, who is my "issue" dog, never had a problem.  Of course Onyx didn't either, but she can switch from anything and be fine...though an envelope of sugar cookie mix tossed in does give her some awful gas...

The lower protein and fat would likely be better for Bugs right now anyway, with is decreased activity regemin...

Nobody here carries Champion's lines so we can't use it anymore, but I wish someone could get it.  Apparently the Rep that covers this area is a real d*ck.  I've heard this from both petstore owners here, and they don't talk to each other, so I'm inclined to believe them.

The store where I buy Orijen is also out of the 6 Fish.  The owner told me that there was a problem with getting the fish, because they migrate south this time of year, so supply is limited.  That's what he said the Champion rep told him, anyway.  So last week I bought a bag of the regular Adult, but haven't opened it yet (and I only bought a 15 lb bag because the guy says he expects to get a new shipment of the 6 Fish in this week).  I've done it once before, when I was still ordering online, and the guys didn't have any problems with the transition.  I'll check out the Acana, too, as a possible alternative, because the store I buy from carries both brands.
