What a sweet baby you have.

If you have any furkids already at the Bridge,  ask them to come down and escort Jesse back.  I asked my other cats to come and get my failing cat, I even brought out their photos and arranged them around my old cat.  Plus I asked them to give me strength to do what I must,  let the vet come to the house and help him out.  I know the other cats had come and my cat was passing even before the vet came.

Oh yes, give him permission to leave you, say "its ok to go now, I'll see you soon"

Try to be positive - not crying. He will sense  your fear.  I tried real hard but it was real hard to not cry as I held him.

Lite a candle before he passes and keep it lit for a while

    Hi everyone,
I am getting a little scared. Cole has been very tired today. He simply goes out to pee and comes back in and lays down. He is eating but he looks so sad. He really doesn't even want anyone bothering him, me, my husband or the other dogs. I am afraid that dreadfull day is coming soon. Please pray for him. I don't want him to suffer. I will let ya'll know more in the morning.
    Have a great night!

He loves you and he feels your love every second he is with you! Hang in there.

    Hey everyone,
I noticed last night that Cole had some red liesions on his belly so i called the doctor this morning. She said that it is more than likely the lymphoma spreading to his skin. I am going to take him in and see if they think it is spread to his other organs. i dont' want him to suffer so if it has spread I think it may be time. i will keep you posted. Thanks for the love and prayers. Ya'll are a great support team. Wish us well.
    Have a great day!

I'm sorry to hear that it might've spread, and I hope the news tells otherwise.  This can be the most difficult decision to have to make, but knowing that you're ultimately doing the kindest thing for your best friend, helps a little.  My thoughts are with you.

Winston and I have you in our thoughts - all of your furkids are adorable.  I hope that when it is time, Cole does not suffer.  It sounds like he had a great life with you and your family.  Hang in there - and know that we're all here for you.

Sorry it's so late but Cole isn't doing that well. He has some huge bumps with puss in them so they put him on antibiotics. However his belly is swollen and that is usually a sign that his spleen and liver are being affected by the lymphoma. I am going to talk to my regular vet Friday morning about putting him down. I think if he continues to mope around and sleep than we may put him down on Sunday. I know he is tired and he doen't really want to be touched. He usually is so excited to go to the vet or see people but today he could have cared less if there was somebody petting him or if another dog was near. I know we are doing the right thing and I know he has had a good life but it is still so hard. We are losing a family member and it's not easy. I always say it's harder when it happens quickly then when you know it's going to happen becuase you have had time to prepare. But in all honesty when it takes so long you are emotionally drained and sad to see him get worse. If it was instant where we didn't know what was going on you would grieve for that one time. Here I get all worked up everytime he gets sick. So I have had to grieve for him four times now and he hasn't been put to sleep yet. But I am glasd for every day I have with him. It's late and I need to get to bed. Hope everyone has a great day

Poor Cole; I'm sorry that he's feeling so sick. You have done everything possible to help him and given him a very happy life; he trusts you to do what is best for him. It looks like it's going to be a rough weekend for you; I'll pray for you and be thinking of you.

I am sorry you are having to face this. I think in your heart of hearts you know it is time to let him go before he gets worse. I think he is showing you it is time since he has no interest in anything or being petted any more.

Sending you Angels to surround you and your family to help make the transition easily. Hugs. Angel
