hmmm I don't really know Gin.  I would give him some acidophilus capsules which should help with the internal aspects of the yeast overgrowth. I think Jennie from here once suggested putting good quality live plain yogurt on B when he was itchy.  As for the itching become habit, yes it can Sad

No change in food? or is he sleeping somewhere different? change in detergent that you wash bedding in or floor cleaner or etc.

The yeast overgrowth can certainly 'move' on the skin so my goal would be to work on that with the hopes that is all that it is.

Meantime give both the boys some loving for me Big Smile

Thanks Karen, Never heard of acidophilus capsules.  I do give the boys yogurt treats each night but have done that for a couple of years now.  I asked Doc if that could be the problems, he certainly didnt think that was hurting a thing. I never thought of putting yogurt on him just in him, lol!

here's a link to one brand LINK

but you can get it from anywhere - some say that you should only buy the ones that have to stay refrigerated, they are likely better but I believe you can achieve the same thing using the basic ones.  It is the good bacteria from the yogurt in a concentrated form.  It is only minimal even in good yogurts and not enough to redress a true overgrowth, a bit of yogurt is a good healthy thing but the capsules are the way to go for a serious issue

as for putting it on him hahahaha I thought wow I need a lot of yogurt Surprise
