Beejou, you'll hear all sorts of stories and anecdotal "evidence" that neutering will or won't do this or that but the bottom line is neutering is the only way to 100%  prevent your male dog from impregnating a female.  Since you have a contract with the breeder and that person is comfortable with neutering at this age, my advice is keep the appointment on the 8th.

Yes. You are CONTRACTUALLY OBLIGATED to do it...which means you will commit a crime if you do not...so I would keep your appt and just realize that you are, neutering your dog to comply with a contract, not to "fix" anything behaviorally.

Because that can only be "fixed" with training, and that, is completely up to YOU to accomplish
