    Pet Health Journal Spreadsheet

It's me, the spreadsheet queen again.  This time I've got one I can share with everyone publicly - LOL!  This is something I developed after struggling with communicating vague chronic symptoms to my vet.  Many years ago I jotted things down in a spiral notebook and then whipped out the illegible, random notes for my hapless vet to try to read through.  However, even that brought way better results than muttering, "No, I really think the limp was moving around.  And he seemed worse at the same time his appetite dropped off.  I think."

So I discovered the key to a vet (or doctor's) heart is Ideahard data[/i].  Even holistic providers like to see everything in one place.

For a while I resisted using spreadsheets since I really hated them after working with them in Corporate Land (other people's spreadsheets).  But I discovered when I customize them myself, they can be my friends!

I developed one in Google spreadsheets tonight so I could share it.  Note that this will track and note numercial data that is "redlining" for easy observation of key symptoms or levels.  You can also use this by assigning numerical values to symptom degree, mood, energy level, alertness, balance or any other qualitative/subjective type of data.

Hmm, that would be a good tool to track Dakota's health with.
