She really needs to see a vet. With young puppies - demodex can occur, but that can only be determined with a skin scrape.

Is she on flea prevention? Many times fleas like to 'hang out' at the base of the tail - which could be making her itchy.

This could also be related to full anal glands. Many times when the dogs anals are full, they become irritated and the dog will scratch and bite at them to help relieve the discomfort.

What are you feeding her? It could also be related to a food allergy.

Alisonays -- this doesn't sound like demodex (that doesn't make a dog bald usually -- sore & infected but not usually bald).  But it does sound like other things.

Question -- do you feel itchy?  Like a small red rash (or you feel sometimes like you're itching just because you see the dog scratching?)

The skin that is bald -- is it kind of tough (almost like it's become calloused because of the scratching?)

WHERE are the bald places.  Ear tips? Tip of tail? Tips of toes?  or is it on the flanks/back, etc.?

I'm going to reiterate what Erica said -- this dog needs to see a vet FIRST.  We can guess but a vet needs to *see* it.

The skin is kind of tough because of scratching and it is at her butt she got lots of wounds, she also scratch on her ears and elbows, im a newbie when it comes to taking care of puppies, thanks for the reply..

By the way, what is a demodex?

it's a mite that lives under the skin and makes puppies very itchy.

what kind of flea prevention is she on? If she is scratching at her ears - she may have an infection. She really needs to see a vet.

When my JRT was a pup, she was itchy and scratching lot. Then we started getting itchy. She had sarcoptic mange. Crappy breeder. THat isn't your problem. Now this summer, she seems to have a contact allergen that I can't find what it is. It was so bad that she just keeled over so I rushed her to the Vet and he gave her a shot. She got better but every time she goes out, she has these sores. The Vet told me it would happen (since she had hives) and was to put hydrocortisone on them. Now her contact allergen does make her bald. The sores come and go. I don't know if its a new weed or a rodent thats bringing something it. However, my other JRT isn't breaking out. So it is something particular to what she is allergic to. I'd take your pup to the Vet if I was you. Pups are so gentle at the early stage.
