Should I take her to the vet?

• Should I take her to the vet? Anonymous Posted : 2/26/2008 3:21:02 PM  Im not sure if I should take Lillie to the vet.  She is 16 months old and has yet to come in heat.  My other 2 setters I have had came in exactly at a year old.  And I just looked it up on google to see about dog heats and it said if the female hasnt had her first one but 14 months that they should be taken to the vet to get checked out. • Pomeranian <3 Posted : 2/26/2008 3:31:16 PM When in doubt let the Vet check it out ;o) I'm not sure if it's just because I have a toy breed... but Kayla's first heat was barely existant. Tiny little brownish/redish spots were left on the bed where she slept. If you have dark furniture or carpeting I could totally see someone not noticing it.
