I answered this in the other place you put this -- typically dissolving stitches are used internally. If you can *see* stitches (thread knotted at intervals with ends sticking out) those need to be removed -- pronto, actually or they will 'grow in'.
However, typically when they use dissolving stitches inside they will use skin glue OUTside so you don't have anything TO remove later.
But if you see a row of sewn & knotted stitches -- they need to come out and you need to call the vet tomorrow if you don't know how to remove them yourself (which probably if you aren't experienced to know what kind of stitch you'll want the vet to do the removing)
