    After sutures are removed, I would wait 7-10 days before vigorous exercise.  Obviously, long walks (after the sutures are removed) are fine, but I would rather wait a little longer just to insure a very well closed cut.  In the meantime, have you tried using stuffed kongs, or other mentally stimulating toys?  If not, then those will tire her out some.

    stuffed kongs and or other treat filled toys in a restricted area (like the bathroom or an expen) to deal with some of the stir crazies.
     
    Clicker train some tricks.
     
    Massage
     
    If weather conditions allow and you have adequate time, part of the meal spread outside on the ground for nose work.  Use a lead or line to keep her moving slowly and under control if necessary.

    it takes the pads to heal longer than other parts of the body because of the pressure and constant strain...might be good after the stitches are out to (as above) limit the exercise and keep the foot bandages or get a bootie
