• Dog sick 3 out of 13 weeks. Stunted growth? Johnathon Spiro Posted : 7/13/2006 3:46:08 PM Hi!   I have a 13 week old Lab/Coonhound who has had worms twice and Giardia.  He had the worms at week 10 and week 12 and Giardia (stomach parasite) at week 12.  His eating was sporadic for at least a couple weeks and had diahrea and I believe it stunted his growing.  Will he 'make up' the lack of growing? Or will he be a smaller dog because of the three weeks of being sick.   Thanks for your input in advance.
