New here and have a ??

Hello there.

We have a 2 year old yellow lab named Ruby. This weekend my hubby took her up north to the cabin to do some work. He said there was wall insulation lying on the ground and she went up to sniff it. Since then, she has had this cough and it sounds like when they have something stuck in their throat that they want to get out? He said she didn't startt this cough til the next morning. She also has some allergies and I know there is a lot of pollen and weeds up there. I don't know if I should worry or just watch her?? Any help would be appreciated.

I would get her checked out, it could be allergies, the insulation could have irritated her, or are there foxtails where she was?http://www.intranet.csupomona.edu/~jcclark/dogs/foxtails.html

Thanks for the reply. I will have to take her in I think. Her ear has been bothering her anyway. Get 2 things checked at once! She seems okay overall. She's eating, playing, etc... just that cough!
