Never ending Kennel Cough that turned into Pneumonia

Ok, I finaly figured out how to do this. My 8mo old puppy Leeloo was adopted by me in Dec., in Feb. she got Pneumonia my vet gave me meds but it did not clear up. Leeloo went thru several ups and downs with diff. meds then we went to a specialist. The specialist told me Leeloo had Kennel Cough that turned into Pneumonia then gave me more meds and said Leeloo had to get x-rays every two weeks for six weeks. I did that now here I am completly broke I can't afford her bills any more 3-4 grand should have been enough to fix the problem. I fear my Leeloo will pass because of my lack of funds I even tried appling for CareCredit but I was denied. If you have any suggestions, or have seen any thing like this please speak up I need help for Leeloo.

Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry. You right, that kind of money should have been enough to fix the problem. I wonder where you got Leeloo and if the vet figures you adopted her WITH this illness. AND IF SO, can you go back and tell them and hope they will help with her bills? That might be far fetched but it seems they should be responsible for something. Can you ask your vet if you can work something out with him, installments or so. Perhaps volunteer at his business for a while and pay some of the money owed that way.
Maybe others here will have a good idea. What a shame, you love your dog, you try to make her better and put a lot of money into her and still you need more..its a shame and I'm sorry! I wish I had more help for you!
