coccidia in my puppy!

• coccidia in my puppy! jillybean9834 Posted : 6/17/2006 3:57:01 PM My new shelter pup became very sick this morning and we rushed her to the vet and he diagnosed her as having coccidia in her stool, which as far as I am understanding it is a parasite.  He said he's never seen a puppy get so sick over it before, and that maybe she is sensitive to it, but anyway my question is: How long (roughly, of course) would it take a puppy of 8-10 weeks of age to get over this? A day, a month? a week?
